Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use My Festive Home, its website and its service. By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.

The service

You upload a photo of a space and describe how you would like it decorated for Christmas. We use third-party AI service providers to analyse the photo, find matching products at online stores and create an illustration of your space decorated with those products. Next to the picture you get a description of the design and a list of the products with their prices and links to the stores.

Who can use it

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service and at least 18, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, to buy credits.

Illustrations, not promises

Pictures are AI-generated illustrations. Real products may differ in size, color, finish and fit, and a design is not a measured plan for installing anything. Prices and stock come from the stores at the time of the search and can change. Always check the product details on the store's page before you buy.

Products and stores

We are not the seller of any product shown in a design. Purchases are made with the store, and the store's own terms, prices, delivery and return policies apply. Store names and logos belong to their owners, and we are not affiliated with them.

Your photos and designs

  • Only upload photos you took yourself or have the right to use. Please don't upload photos that show people.
  • You keep all rights to your photos. You give us permission to store and process them, including through our service providers, only to provide the service to you.
  • You may use the designs we create for you for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as planning your decorations or sharing them with family and friends.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • upload anything illegal, offensive, or that infringes someone else's rights;
  • use the service to create misleading images of real places or people;
  • try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, or access it with automated tools;
  • resell or redistribute the service or its designs commercially.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Accounts, free design and credits

  • Your first design per account is free. You sign in with Google to see it.
  • One credit buys one of: a new photo design, a new variation of a design, or all product links on a design.
  • An account can design up to 3 photos.
  • Credits are valid for 10 days from your latest purchase. Buying more credits resets the 10 days for your whole balance. Expired credits are lost.
  • If a design fails on our side, the credit is returned automatically.
  • Your saved designs do not expire when your credits do.
  • Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred to another account.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay. Our refund policy explains when you can get your money back.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running well, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve, change or stop parts of the service.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for products you buy from stores, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law does not allow us to limit.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. For important changes, we will tell you on the website or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
